Textron Systems seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support development of complex military systems. You will lead systems engineering efforts, ensuring design, integration and implementation of cutting-edge defense technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for military customers.

The role requires system modeling, requirements decomposition, and verification planning, along with life cycle support from development through fielding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; 5+ years of related experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering efforts for complex military systems.
• Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition.
• Perform system-level trade analysis including costs.
• Develop system requirement specifications and verification plans.
• Generate overall system architecture to satisfy requirements.
• Manage Engineering Lifecycle from development to manufacturing to fielding and support.
• Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis.
