Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Full time Mechanical Engineer with experience in mechanical design focused on military applications. The candidate should possess good communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with suppliers within a multidiscipline team.

This role requires experience integrating component design solutions into an overall assembly and US citizenship with or capable of obtaining a Secret level security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design for military applications.
• Ability to create Technical Data Packages with 3D drawings, specifications and materials lists.
• US citizen with or capable of obtaining a Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the detailed design of structural components.
• Being a member of a team responsible for development and design integration of mechanical components and systems.
• Creation of Technical Data Packages that include 3D drawings, specifications and materials lists for component and assemblies of mechanical and electro-mechanical applications.
• Preparing and directing high quality mechanical and electro-mechanical detail and assembly drawings
• Transitioning product design to production and test.
• Writing technical and proposal documents.
• Creating detailed design reports and presentations to summarize design/analysis results.
