Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the Tactical Radars department in the US. The role involves developing mechanical subsystems for radar product lines, using CAD tools, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
• Experience with a CAD software.
• Experience resolving technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary sketches, diagrams, and other engineering information to generate 3-D design models and/or conceptual designs.
• Exposure to solid modeling practices and drawing creation using CAD tools such as Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, capabilities and limitations.
• Support Mechanical Engineering solutions on production issues to functional leadership and engagement for resources to resolve production issues rapidly and efficiently.
• Support functional team leads for the integration efforts across the Cross Product Teams to ensure successful system design, integration, production and program execution.
