Job summary

RTX seeks a Radar Systems Engineer I to join the Surface Radars and Radars team in the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline, supporting sensor and effector programs from concept to deployment. You will collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot, analyze data, and implement solutions that ensure mission‑critical defense systems function seamlessly.

This onsite role in Tewksbury, MA may require up to 20% travel to RTX facilities and customer sites. Active U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field obtained by start date.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Develop radar processing algorithms.
• Develop radar software requirements.
• Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
• Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to implement solutions.
• Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
