Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM must be completed by start date.
Experience using parametric CAD to create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
Experience with mechanical design in coursework, research, or project work.
ABET-accredited program or equivalent credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, model, and document mechanical components and major end items per defense requirements.
Create parametric 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings.
Validate designs via prototyping, testing, and simulations.
Support manufacturing, assembly, and integration with suppliers and facilities.
Participate in design reviews and trade studies to inform decisions.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve hardware challenges.
