Quantinuum is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Brooklyn Park, MN to collaborate with engineers on deploying quantum computing systems. You will assist with mechanical design, create CAD models and drawings, and apply fundamental engineering methods to troubleshoot complex problems. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor’s program, graduating on/after 2027, and eligible as a U.S.

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program.
Graduating on/after 2027.
U.S. Person required (citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder) due to contractual requirements.
U.S. Government national security restrictions apply to non-U.S. nationals.

Responsibilities

Support On-Premises Projects and Operations Group efforts in deploying quantum computers.
Collaborate with engineers and scientists to improve Quantinuum’s ability to build, deploy, and/or maintain complex systems.
Assist with mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving for deployed systems and equipment.
Create and maintain CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and assembly documentation.
Apply engineering fundamentals to troubleshoot technical challenges and recommend solutions.
