Job summary

Quantinuum is seeking an Advanced Mechanical Engineer for our Broomfield, CO location to design, develop, and validate mechanical systems and subsystems across complex platforms.

You will lead prototyping, create CAD models and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, manufacturability, and performance. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience are required; U.S. work authorization is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• U.S. Person as defined by contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and subsystems with increasing independence.
• Lead prototyping and testing for subsystems, including fixture design and validation.
• Create and manage detailed CAD models, assemblies, and engineering documentation.
• Drive design improvements for reliability, manufacturability, and system performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate mechanical designs into complex systems.
• Own documentation release processes and ensure configuration management compliance.
