Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle component layouts using CAD software CATIA
• Select parts or components for weight, cost, reliability and manufacturability
• Assist on assembly floor for prototype, pilot or production build and provide technical help
• Generate engineering calculations of weight distribution and stress analysis
• Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to solve problems
• Assist in testing complete vehicles or components
• Create and manage ECNs using PLM system
• Design, model, and test mechanical systems that integrate with a vehicle
• Update BOM in PDM to reflect product changes
• Other projects may be added at the company’s discretion
