IMT, an Oshkosh company, offers a Mechanical Engineering internship to support engineers in design, production, and testing activities. You will work on vehicle components using CATIA, help evaluate weight, cost, reliability, and manufacturability, and assist on prototype and production builds.

This role provides hands-on experience with ECN processes, PLM systems, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to develop strong design and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering for the entire duration of the internship.
• Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements is a plus.
• Previous internship or work-related experience is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Prepare vehicle component layouts using CAD software (CATIA).
• Select parts for quality-conscious design considering weight, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Assist on assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production builds and provide technical help.
• Generate engineering calculations of weight distribution, stress, and performance estimates.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to solve problems.
