Qualifications

• Student working towards a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Previous internship or work experience.
• Interest in mechanical design and SAE activities is a plus.
• Experience with Creo Parametric, Pro/E, CATIA or similar CAD is a plus.
• Understanding of steel and sheet metal fabrication principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, model and test mechanical systems integrated with JLG products.
• Advance CIRs to support manufacturing, supply chain and ops.
• Collaborate with global engineers on vehicle components in Creo.
• Create and manage ECNs in the PLM system.
• Update BOMs in the PDM system reflecting changes.
• Support prototype, pilot, or production builds on the floor.
• Prepare engineering calculations (weight, stress, performance).
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Test complete vehicles or components as needed.
