You will contribute to design, analysis and documentation, ensuring quality, cost and schedule objectives are met as products go from concept to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–3+ years of experience.
• Computer literate; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, 2D/3D CAD, FEA.
• Ability to dissect problems to find root causes and create solutions.
• Hands-on experience building, testing and debugging tools.
• Quality tools and methods: statistics, process capability, DOE, GD&T.
• Coordinate internal resources for testing and analysis.
• Enjoys fast-paced design cycles and a dynamic environment.
• May travel internationally to visit locations.

Responsibilities

• Support design process to meet quality, performance, schedule and cost objectives.
• Perform hands-on concept development, prototyping, testing and data collection.
• Carry out stack-ups and system analysis for product assembly and life.
• Investigate design issues and test failures; implement corrective actions.
• Create 3D models to evaluate design options.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer requirements.
• Develop documentation for component designs and test results.
• Assist builds of engineering and pilot lots to ensure quality.
