Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Computer literate; MS Word, Power Point, Excel, 2D/3D CAD, FEA.
• Ability to dissect a problem to help find root cause and create a solution.
• Quality-focused with use of statistical tools, process capability, DOE’s, stack-ups, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Support the design process to meet quality, performance, schedule and cost objectives in a cross-functional environment.
• Perform hands-on concept development, prototyping, product testing, data collection and definition of product specifications.
• Carry out stack-ups and system analysis to ensure assembly and functionality across its lifetime.
• Construct 3D models to evaluate design options.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer requirements and develop tests.
