Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Deputy Contracts Package Manager (Mechanical) to support the Spent Fuel Handling Project at Idaho National Lab, near the Naval Reactors Facility. The DCPM will assist the CPM, manage subcontractor activities on site, and ensure safety and timely execution across multiple contractors.

Qualifications include 5 years in industrial construction contract management, strong communication skills, and a background in mechanical activities (HVAC, piping, equipment sets). U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive industrial construction contract management.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience with HVAC, piping and equipment sets.
• US citizenship proof required to comply with government requirements.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and multi-discipline construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Support CPM and coordinate with subcontractors on site.
• Review and process technical transmittals, RFIs, NCRs, change orders and payment applications.
• Attend daily pre-shift briefs and Plan of the Day meetings.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and project documentation with the CPM and CM.
• Ensure safety requirements are met and project logs and reports are maintained.
