Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a BIM Modeler, Mechanical, to develop and coordinate mechanical systems models for our AI data center portfolio. You will translate markups and design criteria into fully coordinated Revit models, working with electrical, structural, and civil designers to maintain one federated model from design through field support.

The role requires 5+ years of Revit experience, HVAC ductwork and piping modeling, and strong coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience modeling mechanical systems in Revit.
• Strong HVAC ductwork and piping modeling experience.
• Experience coordinating BIM across disciplines and resolving clashes.
• Attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical system models in Revit from markups and design criteria.
• Size ductwork and piping based on airflow, velocity, and pressure drop requirements.
• Produce mechanical plans, sections, details, and schedules from BIM models.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with structural, architectural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and drive resolutions beyond flagging conflicts.
• Maintain model accuracy and BIM standards across projects.
