Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical & Plumbing BIM Designer to join the Data Center Design Engineering team. You will design MEP systems, build and maintain BIM models in Revit, and produce construction documents for data center projects across locations.

The role requires 4+ years of Revit experience and 5+ years in mechanical/plumbing design, with knowledge of IPC/UPC codes. You will collaborate across disciplines, support design coordination, and travel occasionally to data

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience using Revit for Mechanical & Plumbing BIM models and drawings.
• 5+ years of design/engineering experience for mechanical and plumbing building systems.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical & plumbing codes (IPC or UPC) and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers using Revit BIM models.
• Prepare and publish construction documents for mechanical & plumbing building systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve clashes and exchange information.
• Travel to data center sites for evaluations and surveys as required.
