Aerotek in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to lead the assembly of metal components and sub-assemblies per blueprints and job packets. The role requires planning, directing others with minimal supervision, and inspections to maintain quality and safety.
You'll work on hand and power tools and participate in training, with a focus on meeting production timelines and maintaining a clean, safe workplace in a permanent onsite role.
This role involves leading the assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets. The position requires the ability to plan and perform large and complex assemblies, directing others with minimal supervision. You will assist with assembly jobs as assigned and perform inspections throughout the process to ensure quality and reduce scheduled job times. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential. You may operate various hand and power tools such as band saws, drill presses, grinders, and belt sanders.
Lead assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets.
Plan and perform large and complex assemblies with minimal supervision.
Direct and assist with assigned assembly jobs.
Perform inspections throughout the process to ensure quality.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Mechanical assembly skills.
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education.
One year of previous experience in a manufacturing environment or assembly.

This is a Permanent position based out of Oshkosh, WI.
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
