Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong hand dexterity and ability to work with small parts.
  • Ability to perform a variety of assembly operations accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, rework, and inspection of finished products for manufacturing.
  • Utilize hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic tools, manual presses, and power tools to assemble components.
  • Work efficiently to meet production time standards and deadlines.
  • Follow verbal instructions, documented work instructions, bills of materials, assembly drawings, blueprints, and established guidelines.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment to verify proper assembly function and operation.
  • Maintain inventory and control of materials required for the department.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
  • Follow all company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work under supervision and complete additional duties as assigned.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $ 18 - $20/hr

Position Summary

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to perform diversified mechanical bench assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling large and small components to precise specifications while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly, rework, and inspection of finished products for manufacturing
  • Utilize hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic tools, manual presses, and power tools to assemble components

  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity required
  • Ability to work with repetitive hand movements and precision tools
  • May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils in a manufacturing environment

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
