Aerotek is hiring Electrical & Mechanical Assemblers for a Blair, NE contract-to-hire role. You will build and wire concrete trucks and heavy equipment, reading blueprints, installing electrical systems, and wiring components. The position offers overtime, a 1st shift schedule, and strong growth potential within manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical assembly, conduit work, and use of hand/power tools. On-site work and reliable attendance are expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of hands-on mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or assembly experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Experience working on vehicles, equipment, machinery, or construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Install and wire lights, electrical harnesses, switches, and control systems.
  • Run conduit, route wiring, and connect electrical components.
  • Assist with the installation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools.
  • Install tailgate systems, electrical controls, and vehicle accessories.
  • Measure, fit, and secure parts using tape measures and assembly equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and correct wiring or assembly issues.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
  • Work closely with the production team to complete builds on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Hiring Electrical & Mechanical Assemblers
$22-$24/HR | 1st Shift | Overtime Available

Are you a hands-on builder who enjoys working with tools, wiring, mechanical systems, or construction projects? We're looking for motivated individuals with experience in electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, conduit installation, automotive mechanics, welding school training, maintenance, or construction to join a growing manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with their hands, reading blueprints, and building equipment from the ground up. Whether you've worked as an electrician, mechanic, welder, maintenance technician, construction laborer, or assembler, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical & Mechanical Assembler, you'll help build and wire concrete trucks and heavy equipment used throughout the construction industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
