Location: on‑site in Ripon, WI
Weekend Nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM (3 nights/12‑hour shifts)
Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications; shift differential of $3.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Troubleshoot and service motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
- Perform welding as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular technical testing on machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and recommend actions to reduce machine downtime.
- Create and manage work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Demonstrate expert‑level understanding of production machines and equipment.
Qualifications
- Preferred two‑year associate degree and 5+ years of work experience.
- Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
- Ability to stand for long periods, sit, use manual dexterity, stoop, and bend.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
