Mechanic 2 – Weekend Nights (Ripon, Wisconsin, United States)

Weekend Nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM (3 nights/12‑hour shifts)
Compensation: Hourly Rate: $/hr - $/hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour.

Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
- Troubleshoot and service motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
- Perform welding as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular technical testing on machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and recommend actions to reduce machine downtime.
- Create and manage work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of production machines and equipment.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Two-year Associate degree and 2 to 4 years work experience.
- Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
Physical and administrative requirements:
- Standing for long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
- Passing a pre‑employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Passing a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
