Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op with Critical Facilities experience for our Boston, MA office. You will support engineering teams, prepare design documentation, and develop AutoCAD and Revit drawings as part of a hands-on internship program.

The internship offers learning through design calculations, field observations, and lunch-and-learn sessions, with senior engineers mentoring you and opportunities to join our EDT program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum second year student.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
