Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York is offering a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern position. You will support our engineering teams with design documentation, AutoCAD and REVIT drawings, and sizing building electrical systems.

This internship includes access to our Engineering Development Training (EDT) program, lunch-and-learn sessions, and mentorship to help you grow technically and professionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Must be at a minimum, completed your second year.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus.
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
