Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is offering an Electrical Engineering Summer Internship in Boston. You will support engineering teams, help prepare Electrical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and contribute to design calculations and field observations.

The role seeks a candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, ideally in their second year, with knowledge of MEP AutoCAD/REVIT and basic design tools; prior internship is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
• Must be at least a second year of study.
• Experience in engineering internships or co-ops is a plus.
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software.

Responsibilities

• As an intern, support engineering teams on designs that are inspiring and collaborative.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist with design calculations and sizing of Electrical systems.
• Assist with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
