Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is offering a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern position in California. This internship provides a hands-on learning environment with engineers and exposure to the latest MEP design tools, including AutoCAD and Revit.

You will participate in design documentation, calculations, and site visits, while enjoying a supportive culture, flexible learning opportunities, and a structured EDT program that supports your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical engineering.
• Must be at least a second-year student.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
