Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is offering a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern position to support our design teams on landmark projects. You will assist with design documentation, AutoCAD and Revit drawings, and calculations for building mechanical systems while learning from experienced engineers.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience, lunches, and lunch-and-learn sessions, plus our EDT program for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Second-year student or higher.
• Prior internship or co-op experience a plus.
• Familiar with MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
• Basic design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
