Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dallas offers a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern position to learn via a hands-on mentorship in a global engineering environment. You will contribute to design documentation and electrical systems drawings, while gaining practical experience through the EDT program and site visits.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independent work, and exposure to MEP tools such as AutoCAD and Revit, with flexible education sessions and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical engineering.
• Must be at a minimum in your second year.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus.
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
