Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Jacksonville, FL is offering a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern position. You will join our MEP and design teams, contribute to AutoCAD and REVIT drawings, and learn through hands-on projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with engineers, assist in design calculations, site visits, and participate in our EDT program, with flexible learning opportunities and lunch-and-learn sessions to support your development into a professional engineer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical engineering.
• Must be at a minimum, completed your second year.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
