Job Description
- Experience Required: Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation; Meat Cutting
- Experience Desired: Retail leadership or supervisory experience; Successful performance as a Peer Trainer or similar role; Demonstrated product knowledge relevant to the department; Good performance and discipline record
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Required: Meat Cutting, Meat Processing, or Meat Science
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 100 pounds
- Travel Required: None
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years old
Job Responsibilities
- Interview, select, and train team members.
- Direct the work of team members.
- Evaluate team members' productivity and recommend promotions or changes.
- Handle team member issues, including complaints.

- Plan and assign work among team members.
- Ensure safety and security for team members and the store.
- Manage department or store budget and inventory.
- Monitor and ensure compliance measures are followed.
- Oversee and evaluate training to reduce turnover and promote efficiency.

- Identify team strengths and opportunities, plan strategically.
- Develop future leaders and recognize team members with growth potential.

- Maintain safety as a top priority.
- Inspire the team and guests with a passion for food and service excellence.
- Set and achieve sales and profit goals while managing shrink.
- Communicate effectively with the team and merchandising to ensure proper promotion and information dissemination.
- Suggest and implement business improvements.
- Review financial and operational reports to improve performance.
- Oversee inventory accuracy and monitor fluctuations and shrinkage.
