Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Seafood Associate at its Caledonia, MI location. You will prepare, package, display, and stock meat products, contributing to store profitability and guest experience.

The role works independently to meet program plans and safety guidelines in a fast-paced retail environment. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), about one year of retail experience, and basic math.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products to production planner.
• Package and label meat products per program plan.
• Merchandise meat products per flight plan/merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with meat products, rotating and dating cases/buckets.
• Notify Meat Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work as a team with other departments and stores to drive growth.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on needs.
