The role focuses on cutting plans, inventory integrity, and coaching team members to achieve department goals while maintaining safety and compliance in a temperature-controlled setting. Strong leadership and meat-cutting expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant, with leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of ordering, receiving, and merchandising in a meat department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department.
• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback and performance reviews.
• Lead scheduling and staffing to ensure productivity and service levels.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on promotions, policy changes, and discipline when needed.
