Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant industry including leadership.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift; lift up to 90 lbs.; work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals; able to coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists; process meat to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct receiving, storage, rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Lead and coach team members; conduct performance reviews and development discussions.
• Create and adjust schedules; manage staffing to maximize productivity.
• Communicate standards, policy changes, and product knowledge to the team.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
