Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to oversee the sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department. You will lead a team, ensure product quality, manage cutting lists, order and receive merchandise, and coach team members to deliver excellent service.

The role requires strong leadership, at least 2 years of meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant settings, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant, including leadership.
• Must stand for up to 4 hours per shift and walk up to 2 miles per 8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operation of the Meat & Seafood Department.
• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists; maximize sales and gross profit.
• Manage receiving, storage, rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in store-wide initiatives.
• Recruit, hire, promote/transfer in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver top product quality and customer service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
