Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the Meat & Seafood Department in delivering high-quality products and outstanding customer service. You will assist in managing staff, inventory, and department operations while upholding health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and leadership in a fast-paced grocery environment, with opportunities for growth and a focus on fresh, high-quality offerings for customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grocery retail Meat department experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
