Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Meat Manager to join our fast-paced, customer‑focused team. You will assist in managing the Meat & Seafood department, lead a busy team, and ensure top-quality product and service for customers in a busy grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience, proven leadership and 2–3 years grocery retail Meat dept experience preferred.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor; positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• General housekeeping and safety/Weighs & Measures compliance.
• Able to stand long shifts; lift 25–90 lbs; operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service for customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Follow weekly ads, inventory, receiving, stocking, and sanitation procedures to ensure freshness and quality.
