Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the Meat & Seafood Department with emphasis on product quality, customer service and team development. You will plan cuts, manage inventory, coaching, scheduling, and ensure profitability.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in meat cutting with leadership experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant with leadership
• Ability to stand for long shifts
• Must lift up to 90 lbs
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
• Strong communication and coaching skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and manage cutting lists and production to meet dept. goals
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, rotation of meat/seafood merchandise
• Coach and evaluate team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews
• Attend in-store meetings and contribute to department strategy
• Recruit, hire and promote team members in collaboration with Store Manager
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and service; maintain safety standards
• Serve as MOD or Key Carrier as needed and manage scheduling and staffing
