Job summary

Harris Teeter in Norfolk, VA seeks an Assistant Market Manager - Meat to supervise up to 15 associates in the Meat/Seafood Department, assisting the Meat/Seafood Manager with direction, coordination and evaluation, and ensuring compliance with store policies and applicable laws.

You will interview and train associates, plan and direct work, and address performance, complaints, and other workplace issues while upholding Harris Teeter's standards and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
