Harris Teeter is seeking an Assistant Market Manager in Virginia Beach to supervise the Meat/Seafood Department and support the Market Manager in directing operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.

• Complete Company training including food sanitation, customer service network, safety and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 15 associates in the Meat/Seafood Department.
• Assist the Meat/Seafood Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Assist in appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates; address complaints.
