Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Framingham, MA is seeking team members for its Meat department. You’ll receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, and assist Members by answering questions and recommending products while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality.
• Rotates meat and maintains cases stocked and clean.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
