Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager responsible for the sales and operation of the department. You will plan orders, create cutting lists, and ensure proper receiving, storage and rotation to maximize gross profit.

You will coach team members, lead scheduling, and collaborate with the Store Manager on promotions and staff development, ensuring the finest quality and customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant
• Leadership experience and ability to coach team
• Knowledge of weights, measures and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and operation of Meat & Seafood Department
• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize gross profit
• Ensure correct receiving, storage, rotation, and displays
• Coach and evaluate team members; participate in performance reviews
• Attend in-store meetings and collaborate with Store Manager
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff; manage discipline and performance
• Schedule staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and service
• Act as Key Carrier or MOD as needed
