Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Meat/Produce Associate at our Madison, WI location. You will prepare, package, label, and stock meat products while ensuring safe handling and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include production planning, merchandising, backroom stock, and coordination with other departments to drive store growth. A high school diploma and basic math skills are preferred, with 1 year of retail experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Detail oriented with good accuracy and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products according to the production plan.
• Merchandise meat products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with meat products; rotate and date cases; notify Meat Manager for orders.
• Collaborate with other departments and stores to support store growth.
• Follow PPE, safety guidelines and food safety standards.
• Follow guest experience guidelines; may assist other departments as needed.
