Job summary

SpartanNash, in partnership with C&S Wholesale Grocers, seeks a Produce Clerk in Madison, WI to maintain and operate the produce department and prepare merchandise according to standards. You will weigh, package, label, and rotate products, ensuring accurate displays and stock levels while following safety and guest-experience guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED preferred and about one year of retail experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, and prepareproduce as directed and maintain fresh display standards.
• Weigh,package and label products; rotate stock and merchandise shelves.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per guidelines; assist with unloading deliveries.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines; ensure guest experience standards.
• May assist in other departments based on business needs; perform additional tasks as needed.
