Job summary

SpartanNash in Northfield, MN is seeking a part-time Meat Associate to assist in preparing, packaging, labeling, and stocking meat products. You will follow production and merchandising plans, ensure accurate weighing and dating, and help maintain safety and guest experience standards in our store.

The role requires a High School Diploma (GED) preferred, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer a competitive hourly wage, PTO, holidays, healthcare eligibility, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret basic documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products per plan.
• Package and label meat products according to program.
• Merchandise meat products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with meat products, rotating and dating cases.
• Notify Meat Manager when products or supplies need ordering.
• Work with other departments to support store growth.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
