Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior meat department/retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers in preparing meat and ensure profitability within company policy along with Store Manager.
• Maintain meat department paperwork and records daily/weekly.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service and resolve complaints.
• Train workers in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for quality and standards.
• Record and manage weekly meat purchases and monthly meat purchases.
• Monitor inventory to control shrink and meet budget goals.
• Ensure proper temperatures in meat coolers/cases and safe operations.
• Record hours worked and manage time tickets.
