Job Description

Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and fresh environment that encourages our customers to return. Help achieve sales and profit goals for the department, monitor and control all quality assurance standards, and support the day-to-day functions of the Meat Department, especially in the Meat Manager's absence. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions include:

• Adhere to all safety, food safety, and legal regulations.
• Promote trust and respect among team members.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Train and develop associates, manage inventory, and ensure proper merchandising.
• Demonstrate Meat Cutter skills, assist customers, and maintain product quality.
• Ensure proper storage temperatures and equipment maintenance.
• Report safety issues and incidents promptly.

Qualifications

Desired previous experience includes management and meat handling. Minimum requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Effective communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Current food handler permit upon employment.
• Knife handling skills and speed.
