Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and fresh environment that encourages our customers to return. Help achieve sales and profit goals for the department, monitor and control all quality assurance standards, and support the day-to-day operations of the Meat Department. Support the Meat Manager in supervising all functions and duties in their absence. Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety, food safety, and legal regulations.
• Promote trust and respect among team members.
• Communicate effectively with staff regarding company policies and job expectations.
• Train and develop team members, including inventory management and performance reviews.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers, providing product information and suggestions.
• Demonstrate meat cutting skills and handle customer requests professionally.
• Inform customers of specials and offer samples.
• Ensure correct portion sizes and manage shrink using proper tools.
• Maintain merchandising standards and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure proper temperature controls and equipment maintenance.
• Report safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities.

Qualifications

Preferred experience in management and meat handling. Minimum age of 18, effective communication, basic math skills, ability to handle stress, and possession of a food handler permit are required. Knife handling skills and speed are essential.
