Job summary

ShopRite of West Milford in New Jersey is seeking a Meat Clean-Up Clerk to maintain a clean, sanitary meat department and support daily operations. You will perform cleaning, stocking, and equipment handling while assisting customers as needed.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 90 lbs, work in refrigerated environments, and follow all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a high standard of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and understand basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shifts and work in varying temperatures.
• Lift 35 lbs regularly and up to 90 lbs occasionally.
• Follow health, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work area.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, utensils and equipment.
• Monitor and inform on inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Unload trucks and move merchandise up to 90 lbs.
• Operate and maintain department equipment with safeguards.
• Adhere to company policies and local health regulations.
