ShopRite of Bayonne in Bayonne, NJ is hiring a Meat Clean-Up Clerk to maintain a clean, sanitary Meat Department and surrounding areas as prescribed by the Meat Department Manager. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitizing, stocking, and supporting a great customer experience.

The position requires 18+ age, ability to lift up to 90 lbs occasionally, work in refrigerated/cold environments, and comply with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and understand basic instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and up to 80-90 lbs occasionally.
• Adhere to health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized Meat Department and related areas.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, utensils and equipment.
• Keep floors free of debris and spills.
• Operate and maintain Meat Department equipment with safety in mind.
• Assist with stocking and inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Follow all QA standards and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and cooperate with team.
