Job summary

ShopRite of Woodbridge is seeking a Meat Clean-up Clerk to maintain a clean and sanitary Meat Department area and adjacent spaces. You will perform cleaning, sanitizing, and basic upkeep to ensure equipment, fixtures, and surfaces meet QA standards.

Responsibilities include stocking and organizing, assisting with department operations, and complying with safety and Company policies. The role requires the ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work 8+ hour shifts in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Basic math skills required for transactions and measurements.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 80-90 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures including refrigerated areas.
• Adhere to health, safety and CO­OL labeling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, utensils and equipment per QA standards.
• Keep floors clear of debris and spills; maintain sanitation.
• Assemble/disassemble Meat Department equipment.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify manager when stock is low.
• Work in refrigerated and frozen storage areas with varying humidity.
