Job summary

ShopRite of Route 35 & 18th Ave in Belmar, NJ is seeking a Meat Clean-up Clerk to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the Meat Department and related areas. The role supports a great customer experience while adhering to safety, QA, and health standards.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 80-90 lbs, and the ability to work in varying temperatures. Compensation is $16.50 per hour with eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand or walk for a full shift.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and 80-90 lbs occasionally.
• Adhere to health and civil code regulations.
• Work with customers in a friendly manner and cooperate with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe Meat Department area.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces and equipment per standards.
• Keep floors clear of debris and spills.
• Operate and maintain Meat Department equipment as required.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and inform supervisor when low.
• Follow safety and QA policies and company procedures.
