Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is looking for a team member to support the meat department, including wrapping, labeling, and stocking fresh and processed meats. You will assist Members with questions and recommendations while ensuring safety and quality.

The role involves rotating stock, cleaning, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. Join a values-driven team focused on service excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Makes recommendations on food products when necessary.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and rotates stock by expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
